1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Nearby app and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nearby. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the app and process UPI payments. By registering, you confirm that the personal details (phone number, name) provided are accurate and belong to you.

3. Peer-to-Peer Liability

Nearby acts as a platform connecting Requesters and Helpers. We do not provide the actual errand services. Liability for the completion, quality, or damages incurred during a task rests solely with the transacting parties (Requester and Helper). Nearby is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

4. Task Guidelines

Users must not post tasks that involve illegal activities, hazardous materials, or violate any local laws. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate our community safety guidelines.

5. Escrow and Payments

All task payments are securely held in escrow via our UPI payment partner. The funds are only released to the Helper upon mutual confirmation of task completion. If no confirmation is provided within 48 hours of task end-time, the funds may be auto-released or sent to dispute resolution.
